Successful Ribbon Cutting Celebrations at New Rochester Park and Cecil Bridge Park

Paulding, OH: The Paulding County Community came together on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, to celebrate the successful inauguration of the pavilions at New Rochester Park and Cecil Bridge Park. These ribbon-cuttings marked a significant milestone in enhancing community spaces and fostering connectivity among residents.

Local dignitaries, community leaders, and residents gathered to witness the official unveiling of these remarkable additions to the county. The Rochester Park Pavilion, now a versatile and inviting space for community gatherings and recreational activities, will undoubtedly become a hub for social engagement. The Cecil Bridge, spanning the Maumee River, stands as a picturesque vantage point, allowing residents to admire the natural beauty that surrounds the area.

"We are thrilled to see the community come together to celebrate the completion of these significant projects. These additions are a testament to the collaborative spirit of our community and our commitment to creating spaces that enrich the lives of our residents," Erica Noggle, Executive Director, Paulding Area Chamber of Commerce.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony featured an inspiring speech from, Glenn Troth, Vice-President, Paulding County Park District Board, a symbolic ribbon-cutting moment, and opportunities for attendees to explore the newly inaugurated spaces. Linda Hodges, President, Paulding County Park District Board, noted “One exciting thing about this project was the overwhelming community involvement and support. We are excited for our continued collaboration in making improvements to the Paulding County Parks system.”
