NextGen Youth Artists Workshop & Marketplace

The Paulding Area Chamber of Commerce is excited to present the NextGen Youth Artists Workshop & Marketplace, a unique opportunity for Paulding County students in grades K–12 to grow both their creative skills and their entrepreneurial spirit.

Thanks to a generous grant from the Ohio Arts Council and our generous local business sponsors, this program is free for all participants—with workshop materials and lunch provided.

On Saturday, September 13, students will attend a one-day workshop.  Led by local artists and business professionals, this workshop will guide students through hands-on art projects and teach them how to present, market, and sell their work.

Then, on Saturday, November 22, these young artists will showcase and sell their creations at the NextGen Youth Artisan Marketplace during Shop the Village in downtown Paulding. This event not only celebrates their creativity but also helps them experience the pride and responsibility of running a small business.

NextGen Youth Artisan Market is made possible in part by an investment of public funds from the Ohio Arts Council (OAC). The OAC is a state agency that funds and supports quality arts experiences to strengthen Ohio communities culturally, educationally, and economically.
