What is Leadership In Action?

Leadership in Action (LIA) is a series of experiences designed to enhance personal and professional leadership qualities within the unique resources of Paulding County. The sessions explore leadership challenges and opportunities, using class time and tours, to provide the participant with a variety of leadership skills to be used in real world application.

Class size is limited to 20 people, and the participants application must be approved in order to attend. The challenges, speakers, tours and the interaction of the participants provide an unforgettable journey in the quest for leadership.

Participants meet monthly, September through May. The September meeting is mandatory and regular attendance is expected for the remainder of the program. Employers and participants will both be required to read and sign a letter of commitment.

A one-time tuition fee of $450.00 for current Chamber members or $500 for non-members covers all program fees, materials and meals. Payment is due prior to the first session in September.

The Mural above and the Herb Monroe Community Park was a project of several of the LIA Classes.

Through participant speeches, demonstrations, workshops and tours you can learn more about our community and become a better leader.
